So far this is the most trending technology that's talking about all-over the internet. But what specific brands or models that we could see in Android Wear. First of is the Moto 360 and the LG G Watch. So obviously, it's Motorola and LG we are going to see first. And reports says that, there could be a Samsung smartwatch as well running "Android Wear" rather than Samsung's Tizen.
We have here the Moto 360 on the right, it has the sleek design and a rounded display. It has a great quality of its material, especially the strap. And the metal finish. This is the Moto 360, made by Motorola.
And the LG G watch on the left side. I don't like that much of the design because of it's rectangular display compared to Motorola's Moto 360 which has a round display. Yet the design is sleek and has the metal finish design which is awesome. So what do you think, are you in for Moto 360 or LG G Watch? Let me know in the description below.
There a lot of things that Google will announce in Google I/O. Since I didn't mention them, because I just said in the title, " I expect the MOST". So obviously, it's the Android Wear. There are tons of things that are going to be announce, like the Android L, next version of Android. Android TV kinda Chromecast though, etc. Stay tune for more information about Google I/O 2014.
The alleged "iPhone 6" . What do you think about it?
From that picture, it seems that the design didn't change that much. But the main part of the iPhone 6 is that it might have a bigger screen. From 4 inches (iPhone 5 - 5s) to 4.7 inches. So obviously, Apple is stepping up a notch. The question is, are you excited for a bigger iPhone? If so, why?
From this picture. Case manufacturers started to make cases for the iPhone 6 based on the popular-rumored-design as seen in the first picture.
The first thing you'll see in this picture, of course, the ones which are encircled. Let's go with the first one, volume buttons. The design has changed! (MAYBE). The design of the volume buttons are similar to the iPhone 5c's volume buttons has and the iPod touch 5th gen's volume buttons as well.
And the last one but not least, the power button. As we all know, from the start of the iPhone, the power button's located at the top of the iPhone, and because of the iPhone 6's bigger screen, the phone itself is going to be bigger than before. So, iPhone 6's power button might be located at the right side of the device. Yes, I know it kinda looks in the Android phones. Before you complain about this, especially Android-fans. The reason why it is located at the right side, it's because to have an easy access to the power button. That's it!
So again, that's the power button located at the right side of the device. Along with the Nano-SIM card tray.
From iPhone 2G (Original) to iPhone 4s which has the 3.5 inches screen. Then going to 4 inches screen with iPhone 5 to 5s (including 5c). And huge update, the 4.7 inches screen, iPhone 6.
It's obviously that the iPhone 6 is going to be big, like I said over 100 times I think. Reports also said that Apple might launched 2 new iPhones. One that has the 4.7 inches which the one we're talking about and the other one that has 5.5 inches. That's huge isn't it? Same size of the Galaxy Note 2 isn't it?
As you can see in the left side, we have the dummy in the top and below is the current-gen iPhone. The designed have obviously changed, it's thinner than before (argh). As well as the volume buttons have changed, it is now similar to the iPod touch's volume buttons. But we're not sure if that's it.
At the top view. The power button has been moved to the right side as the dummy shows. So that it is easy to access the power button. Kinda looks Android isn't it. But hey, this is about "accessible" so don't say that Apple is copying Android about this.
And the back part, now obviously the one at the left side is a dummy. A dummy. There's no Apple logo and the text below.
You can obviously see the changes from the current-gen to the new-gen. The design changed, I guess it's not a two-tone design anymore. But we don't know. And let's get a good view in the camera...
So this is a closer view to the camera. Obviously another design has changed. What hits me about this one is that it is back to Single-LED flash instead of the Dual-LED flash. Or I just really don't know. Then we have a much bigger microphone there. And the camera itself has changed I think. In the 3rd picture in this article, you can see that the camera in the iPhone 6 is thicker than the current-gen iPhone.
What could we really expect from the iPhone 6. Well, first of all the design like I said. Then the specifications, it will be with the A8 Processor. Now we're just not sure if it is a Quad-Core Processor or still a Dual-Core Processor. But we always know that Apple doesn't specs define the phone itself. Much improved RAM of course, better camera. I guess that's it.
iPhone 6 is likely to be announced in September 2014. After few days of the Special Event for iPhone 6, iOS 8 will be released then to the public and iPhone 6 then is released to the public. Stay tuned for more information about iPhone 6.
Is the iWatch going to launch later this year, or will it even exist? So many questions about it. A report early Friday from Nikkei named October as a plausible launch month and now a second report from Re/Code says yes, October is indeed Apple's planned launch month for the iWatch.
Apple is planning to make a big deal out of the launch with a "special event". This might be a press conference where Apple and its partners will discuss the device in addition to new software that works with it using Apple's new HealthKit, revealed earlier this week during WWDC 2014 with the firm's Health iOS 8 app.
The iWatch will no doubt tap right into Health to keep you abreast of real-time health data. Reports said it will ship an OLED display and may feature senseors that monitor blood glucose and oxygen (That's some science!), in additon to standard fitness activity tracking like steps walked, calories burned and more. Just like Health apps that you see in AppStore.
Every month, Apple has been always talked about, from iPhones to wearable techs. With the iPhone 6 expected in September and the iWatch following a month later, and the next-gen iPads (iPad 6/iPad Air 2? and iPad mini 3) in November. Apple seems to have a busy second half of the year on tap. As usual...
Would you consider to buy the iWatch if Apple's going to announce it? If yes, why? Leave them in the comments, below.
TheHealth app, Let's say you've got multiple fitness apps on your iPhone: FitBit to keep track of your footsteps and calories, Strava to map your bike rides and Nike+ Running for your morning jogs. The new Health app in iOS 8 will consolidate all your fitness data in one convenient place. No more bouncing between different apps to get all your fitness information. Developers can use a brand new framework called Healthkit to share fitness data to and from your iOS device, but as the end user, you still have full control over the kind of data that each app can access.
Family Sharing. If you're an Apple family, life just got a whole lot easier for you. The new Family Sharing feature in iOS 8 will let you view music, books and movies purchased via iTunes by up to 6 family members as long as they used the same credit card, even purchases made from different Apple devices. And parents, you will now get a notification if your kid tries to purchase something. If they don't get your explicit permission, they can't buy the app!
The Photos app already got a huge upgrade with iOS 7 with the ability to automatically organize your pictures by year and location. In iOS 8, Apple's enhancing the app even more. Photos in iOS 8 gets a brand new search feature that will allow you to look for photos by location time and album names. There are also some nifty editing tools in there that let you straighten and crop pictures, and adjust light, exposure and color. Bonus: the Photos app on the iPhone will now show you all the pictures stored on iCloud. A lot of photos, day by day, month by month, year by year.
HomeKit. So you live on the cutting edge. Your home is filled with smart devices like Wi-Fi-enabled doorknobs, smart light bulbs, and intelligent thermostats (one not made by a certain company Google just bought). HomeKit turns your iPhone into a hub that lets you control every connected device in your smart home. You can group multiple devices from different manufacturers together, and you can use Siri to control it all. So you can do cool things like say, "It's time for bed," which will dim the lights in your bedroom, lock the garage door and adjust the heat in your house all at once. I bet this feature is for the rich people :3
Widgets in Notification Center. Apple enthusiasts have been clamoring for iOS to support widgets like Android for a long time. Apple has finally listened. iOS 8 will be the first version of the operating system to support widgets from third-party apps. But unlike Android, where users can pin them on any Home screen, the widgets in iOS will live in the Notification Center. Will Android even react to this?
Mail app. There are plenty of third-party mail apps on iOS that incorporate all sorts of nifty gestures to delete and archive your emails. The Mail app in iOS 8 borrows a few of these for itself. You can swipe all the way to the left across an email to delete it. A short swipe to the right will flag it. And if you want to access the rest of your emails as you're composing one, you can push down the Compose window all the way to the bottom and scroll through the rest of your messages at the same time. Resemblance of Mailbox app...
Messages app. Messages takes a leaf out of WhatsApp's book in iOS 8. You can now rename message threads, add and remove users from a thread, and mute group chats. You can also share your location with a single tap, which is handy, and send audio and video messages. Just tap and hold with a finger to record a message, then send it off. It's WhatsApp with a prettier UI. More like of WeChat though.
TouchID, the fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 5s and its underlying software, makes unlocking the iPhone and authorizing App Store and iTunes purchases a snap. With the release of iOS 8, Apple will allow third-party apps use the system for logins. No more remembering multiple passwords for all the different apps on your iPhone. Placing your finger on the Home button should now be enough. This is why I love iOS more than Android. :3
Siri. From the start, we know that Siri will always get better and better. The best feature of the Moto X – the ability to simply say "OK, Google" to wake up your phone and have it do your bidding is coming to the iPhone. In iOS 8, you can simply say "Hey Siri" to launch Siri without ever touching your phone. There's also built-in Shazam integration, so if you're dying to know what that song playing on the radio or in the pub is, simply ask Siri. We're not perfectly clear on how Apple will keep this secure, but we'll get an update closer to iOS 8's actual release.
Shazam song recognition is just amazing. You don't need to open the Shazam app to know what music is playing on the radio. Actually, you don't need to download it, because Siri has a built-in Shazam integration! Amazing isn't it?
Keyboard. And finally, Apple will support third-party keyboards. Even Swype! Hooray for Swype users!
Sure, Apple revamped the virtual keyboard with iOS 7. But the keyboard in iOS 8 will be much, much better. There's finally predictive text, so you can now tap-tap-tap the space bar, as long as the word iOS predicts is the one you want, and blaze through those emails. The predictions are smart and context-sensitive. The OS learns the tone of your voice and will suggest. I would say that I would have this kind of predictive text in iOS unlike in Android.
Last but not the least, Quick Reply. You're acing it in Plants vs Zombies 2. Your peashooters are firing crazy streams of frozen peas, your melon-pults are working in overdrive, and the Zomboss is getting its butt kicked. Then you get a text message, which you tap on and—boom—you're out of the game and in the Messages app. Harsh! With iOS 8, that all changes. You will be able to reply to an SMS, Like a Facebook comment, or deal with calendar alert right from the Notification Center. It also works on the Lock Screen. This is the thing that makes me hype whenever I hear about iOS 8!
That's about it. The best features of iOS 8. The overview of iOS 8, iOS 8 is the biggest iOS release ever — for developers and everyone else. But that wasn’t the goal. Apple simply set out to create the most natural experience. Each enhancement has a purpose. Every new feature deserves to be a new feature. Each function is more considered, each next step is more efficient. It all adds up to an even better experience — one that is pleasantly surprising at first and becomes utterly indispensable before you know it.
Apple announced iOS 8 in the Worldwide Developers Conference and seeded it to the developers. No one could really ask for iOS 8 jailbreak, but the known hack Stefan Essar aka i0n1c who made the iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak possible. And tweeted that Apple hasn't patched any of the exploits used to jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 which is a very good unexpected news from Apple.
